Week recap: the LAST week

It was the peak of all stress, the deadliest of all deadlines, and the best yet worst five days of school we ever had.

1. Edsa day - the day which had no class, was basically used to attempt to cram everything that was due within the next four days. That included snapshots, IP, eco, and compo. In short, it was pahabol day.

2. The compo paper - it was hell-ish to do. You'd think that it was bad enough to write the research paper. It's worse when you have to do one, check another person's, and then rewrite yours. And yeahp, that was all graded. I am officially sick of media and social isolation. Potek, whatta hard paper.

3. The snapshots project - it ended up being a nobela. But as Gel's already posted it on her multiply blog, it was the BEST. If there was one project, we did not cram, it was this one. Buh-rilliant.

4. Thursday, the defense of all defenses day - for IP, Isha and I did not understand our IP at all. Basically, we made bola the explanantions to our results... but Merdegs did not ask us questions!! We don't know how.. but *whistling* we ain't complaining. It's just a matter to TRYING to look like you understand what you're talking about. Eco defense went well too. Shoot, two defenses in a day.

5. Council elections, and bequeathal - first, it was the tarp from the freshmen (thanks so much guys!! it was the sweetest) complete with superhero belts with our initials and team colors on them. Also, bequeathal. The day of long speeches (but really good ones, I might add.) It was hard to believe that we were the ones receiving the stuff last year. And, congratulations to grace, michelle, and everyone else part of next year's council!

6. The LAST DAY - the day of ginang's crying in class (phenomenal!!), taking pictures of everything in the school, and a lot of senti moments.

We're may not be seniors forever, but batch 2008 will always be the best batch I'll have. (Not that I have another batch... but yeah. you get it). Guys, back to the bottom of the food chain next yeaaarr.

Campaign - hasn't started... but being campaign manager has its perks and downfalls (such as shortened lunch). MOVE doesn't have a final line up yet... but anyway... it's currently on low priority... 3. Sendoff - gawd don't talk to me about this. I haven't started yet. I will, when I actually have the time to do so. 4. Prom - just finished up getting the last minute things... I'm going to spend the week breathing now... just those reaaaally minor details na lang... JUST GET IT OVER WITH NA! I swear, the planning and talking n...

To restage or not to restage...

The poll is up. Should the Gabay production of Songs for a New World do a restaging? Hit the comment button, and state your name, answer, and justification. This way, certain people won't vote numerous times. I cannot believe I'm even opening to that situation.

WR Debaters are sorority sisters... :)

It's been a little bit under hell over the past two days, so it's been hard to find the time to blog about IISDC. The teachers decided to give no mercy and imposed all make up tests to be taken today. Naturally, we died studying last night. But... the point is... it was well worth it. It's super hard to actually describe IISDC 2006, so here's the rundown on the highlights. 1. Mega SQUISH!! 12 people in Eagle star!! - Just when we thought that 8 people in a condo was difficult last year, we tried 12 this year. It took a lot of mattresses and fixing up every single day, lots of squishing, waiting for Gaba to turn off the lights, and sleeping on the floor. Imagine, the condo is originally for two people, and we fit six times more than that. Achievement! Well, it just involved having no space after all the bags were unloaded and after the sleeping bags were rolled down. But, that just adds to the fun of it! 2. No sleep, really - okay, so we still slept a little, but we woul...
