Summer update...

What I have done over the past week... which will be the last productive week. ever.
Monday
1. chorale recording in Ateneo Sonolux. We all got so aliw the minute we entered the studio. It's a-la-No Idea, but the site is much prettier!! With the mics and headsets and all that... then we started getting reaaaally frustrated after a few hours. I don't remember how many times we did a take on this certain ending of a song... what song that was, I don't even remember. Basta it's the epitome of sobrang OC!! But I loved it anyway, recording is still the best.
2. sleepover at isha's house. Medyo bitin na naman, because I arrived so late, and had to go so early the next day. Anyone who wants to bond, watching disney movies and singing along with them is the great way to rediscover your inner child. Try it. Seriously.
Tuesday
1. funeral of my great aunt. Chinese burials are weird. You have all of these stops and all that. Nothing much said. I was so sleepy then.
2. spontaneity part two, cafe breton with gel and isha. This went in exactly the same manner as the Brothers episode the day after pre prom. Fun sobra. I love my friends for stuff like these. See, gel finally got her craving satisfied. After waiting for around 2 months. Hahahaha.
Wednesday
1. Patricia's graduation - my mini me niece graduated from kinder in TLC. Blast from the past talaga. I haven't been in there for ages, but it looks almost exactly the same. Can you believe I graduated from there... TEN YEARS AGO.
2. Lunch in town - the worst impromptu thing ever. Had lunch with Raffy, Monmen, and Mark. We TRIED to discuss the beach trip. TRIED to.
3. Recog practice - was recog practice. They didn't want to tell us any of the awards we were going to get. I could have done without this.
Thursday
1. Dinner at Intercon - I was the only junior this time around, but it was the funnest!! Also the most sosy thing ever... dinner at a hotel, tapos brenner pa afterwards!! Hahaha, but I loved it a lot! Thanks to Nav and Jeric.... :) Concep is the new SR captain, Mark is IDEA rep. Had so much fun, got home at 1am.
Friday
1. Recognition day - silver, still defending compo and subject awards. That's all.
2. Seniors grad - daaamiittt... this is the last grad that i'm going to that is not that of my own batch. Congrats to our debate seniors, who got medals for service to debate! Shattered dreams that night, right Pola? I will miss the seniors!!
Saturday
1. Yaninah's grad - my other niece, graduated from grade school in Zobel. Congrats! Lunch at Fridays after. :)

That is the last productive week of summer. Nowwww...

I am bored. Unbelievably bored. And it's always bad that you leave me with nothing to do but rot.
The soundtrack of "Songs" is finally up. We have to re do it. But it's not bad naman.
I don't want to go to Bicol this week. Noooo....
I was too late to join the A1 recital. Are you kidding me?!
This is going to be my last actual summer, and this is how I'm going to spend it.
I want to go abroad, but I overexploited last year.
Someone give me something to do!!! Aaanything!!

The checklist...

A lot is going on... A LOT. None of which are done yet, btw... so a-la-Nash-reply speech... I'll just go down a quick check list... on what the hell I'm supposed to be doing... (gaaah... I'm back to my time tabled life... I miss spontaineity) 1. WIT - actually this is done... it went well!! We got some possible new recruits... and it was actually fun to miss a lot of class to adj debates... and miss even more class tabbing... 2. Campaign - hasn't started... but being campaign manager has its perks and downfalls (such as shortened lunch). MOVE doesn't have a final line up yet... but anyway... it's currently on low priority... 3. Sendoff - gawd don't talk to me about this. I haven't started yet. I will, when I actually have the time to do so. 4. Prom - just finished up getting the last minute things... I'm going to spend the week breathing now... just those reaaaally minor details na lang... JUST GET IT OVER WITH NA! I swear, the planning and talking n...

To restage or not to restage...

The poll is up. Should the Gabay production of Songs for a New World do a restaging? Hit the comment button, and state your name, answer, and justification. This way, certain people won't vote numerous times. I cannot believe I'm even opening to that situation.

WR Debaters are sorority sisters... :)

It's been a little bit under hell over the past two days, so it's been hard to find the time to blog about IISDC. The teachers decided to give no mercy and imposed all make up tests to be taken today. Naturally, we died studying last night. But... the point is... it was well worth it. It's super hard to actually describe IISDC 2006, so here's the rundown on the highlights. 1. Mega SQUISH!! 12 people in Eagle star!! - Just when we thought that 8 people in a condo was difficult last year, we tried 12 this year. It took a lot of mattresses and fixing up every single day, lots of squishing, waiting for Gaba to turn off the lights, and sleeping on the floor. Imagine, the condo is originally for two people, and we fit six times more than that. Achievement! Well, it just involved having no space after all the bags were unloaded and after the sleeping bags were rolled down. But, that just adds to the fun of it! 2. No sleep, really - okay, so we still slept a little, but we woul...
